Make Your Own Stylish Branch Christmas Tree

Easy
I put up my Christmas decorations on the 1st December. This year I made myself a stylish frosted branch Christmas tree to hang my decorations from. This tree is really easy to make and costs almost nothing.
The tree is a great space saver and can stand in a Christmas tree or parasol stand. As it's flat it can even be hung on the wall. You may want it as a second Christmas tree, or your main one, if space is limited.
You will need to gather a load of straight branches from your garden.
First create a simple a frame with your branches. Then fix them together. I used a combination of cable ties and wire to fix my branches in place.
One your frame is built, lay your hanging branches across the frame.
I fixed these in the same way as the frame branches, alternating branches behind and in front of the main trunk.
Next to create the frosted look, I simply sprayed the branches with some snow spray click here to see. I then sprayed the branches again with a varnish to help fix the artificial snow.
You can either hang your tree flat against the wall or stand it up.

For more details see the blog link at the end.
The other thing I love about this tree is that it's great for showing off your favourite ornaments.

luv the sock monkey ornament. also noticed on 3rd branch down from the top on the right side, the ornament almost looks like a tea ball. wouldn't it be cute to use diff sizes tea balls, painted if one chose & fill the balls with appropriate potpourri or perhaps cotton balls & essential oils.
