Growing up, one of my favorite Christmas cartoons was Dr. Suess' "How the Grinch Stole Christmas". And it still is today! If that yellow-eyed fuzzy green Grinch is one of your favorite holiday icons, too, then you are going to love this simple and fun DIY craft!
Remind friends and family of the true meaning of Christmas with these two adorable DIY Grinch Christmas ornaments! Learn to make them with my quick and easy tutorial!
Inspired by my Halloween candy ornaments and my Thanksgiving Turkey treats, these ornaments are not only simple to make, they are inexpensive, too! Best of all, it's a craft you can do with the kids, making special memories along with a cute keepsake to remind them once they are grown.
Although I used my Cricut Explore Air, markers or craft paint would work just as well. If you need a template to copy, do an image search for 'Grinch face template' and plenty of pictures will come up. From there, make a template you can use.
Once you have your template, you will also need black and yellow vinyl, clear, plastic disc ornaments, round plastic ornaments (if you will be eating the candy, you can find food-safe ornaments), lime green Sixlets candy or green M&Ms, lime green crinkle cut paper shreds, lime green craft paint, and a hot glue gun with glue sticks.
Head on over to Bullock's Buzz for the step-by-step tutorial and more pictures! And be sure to keep an eye out for more easy-to-make holiday crafts coming soon!
