Dollar Store Centerpiece

Planning my daughter's wedding was great fun and I especially enjoyed coming up with ideas that cost little and looked fabulous. The vases for the guest tables were my favorite.
I used plastic, cut-glass-look vases, glass bowls, mini LED votives and BlueTack-type putty from the Dollar store. The putty held the vase in place to the bottom of the bowl, (just tiny bits at about 4 places around the edges; totally invisible) and more putty held the bowl secure on top of the mirror. A mini LED was placed under the bowl and glowed up through the vase filled with the gel balls and hydrangeas. On the inverted bowls, the design became hearts, an accidental plus.
I'm thinking I may do this for the holiday table, possibly using marbles and silk flowers with greenery.
It cost less than $4 to create this vase, one of 16 I made for my daughter's wedding.
