The easiest way is to buy Windex Outdoor spray that you attach to your garden hose.

Just follow the directions on the bottle.

Although I haven't used it in a while, it is great for 2nd storey + windows too. A company wanted over $ 500 over 15 years ago to do my mother's windows (with a so-called "seniors' discount" !) I bought the Windex for maybe $10-15 for a big one from Costco, or some place like that. There was no wiping and as a bonus it did a great job on the siding too. We stocked up, so I don't know if the formula has changed or not, but we loved it.

I've used outdoor window cleaning sprays (other companies besides Windex have them) and I highly recommend them, for windows and solar panels. It's great that you're remembering t clean them they work so much better when they're clean.

Call the company that makes the solar panels and ask what to use. Good Luck.

Search Google for "how to clean solar panels" and you get a LOT of hits. This was the first one: http://www.energymatters.com.au/panels-modules/cleaning-solar-panels/

YouTube also has videos on how to accomplish this. Here's one: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r1W3lHpNszg

Just spray plain water on them you don't need a bunch of window cleaner unless you need to waste money. Just rinse off the dust and you're done.

Our solar company and the installers said not to do anything to them at all. I'd check with your company before using any cleaners or get on the roof!

I went to walmart and purchased a brush that you attach the; garden hose to it and just washed the panels. Very easy and fast to clean with. My panels are a few inches of space between them and the spray and wash to me is too much of a hassle
