Making Art With Old T-Shirts

Faced with bins of old lacrosse tournament t-shirts my boys refuse to part with, I decided to make their favorites into art.
Instant wall art for your child from their own favorite t-shirts.
A blank wall transformed...
Gather up some of those t-shirts they have outgrown and refuse to part with.
Purchase an assortment of canvas boards.
Center t-shirt over canvas.
Flip over canvas and tshirt and trim tshirt leaving 2 inch margin to staple
Staple gun t-shirt to canvas.

I think a piece of card stock or poster board cut to size and attached would make a clean finished back.

Fantastic idea - I LOVE it! Wish I would've seen this sooner - BEFORE I got rid of half a million t-shirts!

Grat for kids, but I'm a huge ELVIS fan with a few Elvis tees that have seen better makeup necklines. Now I can display-thank you!
