Let's get going!
Chinese LED strips & Alu angles. The strips are ok, but not the best warm white color - so might wanna invest a couple of extra dollars for that perfect look
Creating paper templates for the stairs, so it is easier to cut
Cutting stair carpet
And voila! A stair step. 10 to go.
Applying Velcro to the staircase. For a more permanent solution, I recommend using real carpet glue.
Attach the carpet neatly to the stair.
From above, see the contrast. New is so nice. Old was ok.
Measuring length of steps!
Cutting out aluminium edges

Time to bring the rolls of LED strips out
Cutting the LED strips to proper size, then attaching them on the underside of the step. See the video for a more comprehensive guide.

The only issue I think might happen is the medal strips can catch on things then lift . That what happen when we did our porch stairs. But I love it ,

I ‘m with the rest. How are you hooking up the power. Are you hooking them end to end with the black and red wires (series set up) or running the black and red wires from each led strip to a single source (parallel set) and what is that source?
