Hens and chicks are very hardy,unless you live in a severe climate just leave them outside .
Put a layer of straw over them and leave them alone.
if there planted in the ground just cover them.
You can take them in or leave them out. There hardy they should be fine.
I live in the northeast.....I don't do anything with mine and I've had them for over 20 years. They are hardy and will multiply faster than rabbits.
