5 Minutes
Easy

A simple and sweet way to get some vintage into your Christmas decor. Find old salt-n-pepper shakers at yard sales and thrift shops. Check out my easy DIY for hanging them with a basic wire ornament hanger. Fill them with little beads or fabric swatches for pops of color. Beautiful!

The small ones are light enough to hang on most trees. Aren't they glitzy? And the variety of shakers is endless. To hang, thread the bottom curve of a wire ornament hanger through two of the holes in the lid.

What a great idea. I have lots of salt/pepper shakers. Some are not clear. I'm going to use them filled with beads that match or coordinate. Thanks for that great idea. Not just for Christmas then.
