Make a spiffy paper towel holder quickly, easily, and cheaply!

For less than ten bucks you too can have a long-on-style, short-on-cost industrial looking paper towel holder for wall or under mount. First, purchase your pieces.

We lost our paper towel holder after we gained glorious brand new kitchen drawers so I needed to come up with something new.

Be mindful of the paper towel roll sizes you usually buy as that affects the short arm.

Here I bought all galvanized plumbing pipe, 1/2": a twelve inch long nipple, a three inch long nipple, a cap, a plug, a floor flange, and a tee.

Next, screw them all together. Before you do that though, it's helpful to put some thread locker or some Gorilla glue in the parts so that they won't come loose.

Be sure to come by my blog, Flipping the Flip for info about this as well as all sorts of fun and exciting projects!

I bought the three inch nipple size as we get the larger rolls of paper towels. As you can see, it allows for plenty of space.

Originally I had wanted all black pipe parts but the store was out of the 12"-er piece. No worries, that's what black spray paint is for!

A few screws in the side of the cabinet and bingo! Paper towel holder!

And there we have it! In less than twenty minutes our paper towel holding dilemma was solved!
