DIY Paint Stick Table

This is a great day project that really is a great addition to any room!
TIP: The paint sticks in Lowes are thinner and bow easily. Home Depot paint sticks are thicker, much easier to work with!
Step 1
Get a few paint sticks and start staining!
Step 2
After stain is dry, use a box cutter and remove the handle on the paint stick.
Step 3
Start gluing them down! Use wood glue and place the sticks in a design of your choice. You will need to use your box-cutter again the resize pieces.
Step 4
Make sure the glue is completely dry before the next step. Start sanding down all the surface area of the paint sticks.
Step 5
Finish up with a glossy top coat!

I dont remember how many were used. I was able to get 2 plastic grocery bags full of them though. Used most of them with some to spare.
