Every House Needs One of These... What Do You Think?

When I started renovating furniture almost two years ago, I'll admit that I didn't know much about mid century furniture. Since then, I've grown to appreciate this style enough that I've held onto a few pieces for my home rather than sell them. MCM furniture is understated, confident, and well-built. Close to this piece in my family room, you'll find an early 20th century barrister bookcase, spanish revival dining room table, and a worn out farm house kitchen table. I think the smooth clean lines of MCM furniture lend well to mixing styles as so many of us like to do. What do you think?
