House Number Door Hanger: Christmas Edition

I love a decorated front door, but knew I wanted something different from an ordinary wreath for ours this past fall. Solution: create a customized hanger using tiles I found in our garden shed. The real beauty of this project, however, is how easy it is to change up for each season. It took less than half an hour to transform it from fall florals to Christmas magic!
One of the questions I received when I shared this project in September was how I actually put the floral arrangement together. I gave instructions on how to build the base, but not so much on the arranging. So when I changed it up for Christmas, I took plenty of pictures to share exactly how I arranged them.
I started by removing all of the floral pieces and taking it down to just the base. If you missed the post that shares how to make it, you can check that out here.
For the Christmas season, I used two pine sprays with cones and berries, two lightly flocked smaller pine sprays, and some small poinsettia blooms.
I started by taking the bottom four pieces off the largest pine sprays. They were too long to fit into the floral foam on the back of the hanger without reaching beyond the sides of our door. I set these pieces aside to use later.
Next, I cut the ends to make the sprays short enough and pushed them into the foam on each side.
I also cut the smaller pine sprays into individual pieces - 3 each.
I stuck two of them in the top at an angle, between the tiles.
Next, I added a sprig that I had trimmed from the largest spray - right in front of the flocked spray. My plan was to fill in the top area by layers each of the sprigs I had trimmed until it was completely filled.
You can see how adding these smaller springs is filling up the empty space. The key was to keep things balanced. If I added a piece to one side, I added a matching piece to the other side...
until it was all filled in.
For color, I added those berry sprigs that I had cut off of the longest sprays - again balancing them on both sides and pushing them in at a slightly outward angle. That gives the arrangement a fuller look.
For the final splash of color, I added the mini poinsettias along the top in front of the greenery. I snipped them from the stem in groups of two and pushed them into the foam - balancing their placement again - until the area was full.
I added a sparkling gold ribbon, then hung it back on the front door - Fall to Christmas in less than a hour! There are more pictures of the process on the blog, so be sure to stop by if you want more details.

I have looked at the fall and Christmas posts. Maybe I missed something? But where did you get the black wrought iron hanger that you made the base on? I have looked all over Home Depot! Ginger

Do the tiles come with numbers on them or did you put them on each one?
