DIY Holiday Swedish Tomte (Scandinavian Gnomes)

These adorable Swedish Tomte (Scandinavian gnomes from folklore, also "found" in Norway, Denmark, and Finland) are super easy to make and easily customized to complement any holiday decor.
They make cute ornaments, gift toppers, or teacher's gifts and are a great Christmas craft to get the kids involved with too!
The supplies can be found at most craft stores, with a minor detour to the hardware store for wood dowels.

You'll need: felt (for the coat and hat), wool roving (for the hair), wood dowels, cut to 2"-3" (for the body), wood hearts (for the feet), small wood balls (for the noses), wood glue, craft glue, thread and a needle.
