Chicken Wire Garden Lady

I spend hours in the garden during the summer months . So I decided to make a garden friend who can spend some time with me in the garden with out complaining lol. My kids are scared of her at night. My husband likes it.
I started with some chicken wire and some coconut liners (from the wire planters)

Just shape the chicken wire into a skirt shape.Make sure you wear a thick glove. I Got a mask from a dollar store
Insert the coconut lining into the body and add some soil in to the chest cavity and planted some succulents. (these plants comes back every year) use floral wire to tie everything together in place.

I used a piece of rusted metal and made the apron to give that rustic look
Then I planted some Ivy, so eventually it will cover the skirt part of the lady and looks like a skirt. its been a year since I made it and this is growing nicely . Hope I dint scare anyone away lol

I saw the first pic only and the screen locked; thought you lived in Sleepy Hollow until the project unloaded and she developed. The Bird Lady of Savanah couldn't be more graceful. Let's see her when she is fully clothed.
