Decorating the Christmas Tree

This year I decided to decorate our tree with homemade Christmas ornaments which most are recycled, including the Christmas skirt! I used Repurposed books, lace tablecloth, curtains and some handmade snowflakes.
This is a lace curtain (3 of them) that are now repurposed into a tree skirt. You can sew them together or drape them around the bottom of the tree like I did.

Use book pages for this ornament. Lace in center and a repurposed letter from a game in the middle.
Book pages made into rings and glued together to make a chain.
Homemade snowflakes added with fake snow on the tree.
A lace curtain cut up in 2" pieces and strung around the tree as garland.
Left over book pieces from the rings of garland. Glued them together on one end and used them kind of like the spears that come out of the top of the Christmas trees, except these are just draped on the branches.
Another snowflake.

The book page chain and lace.
The flakes I used on the tree for snow.
The finished tree!
