What are some clever uses for ice cream buckets?

I have about twenty plastic ice cream gallon size buckets that I just cannot come up with something clever and useful to do with them. These all happen to be square and have a handle and a lid.
Ideas?

I use them to put my 2 oz bottles of ceramic paints in. In fact, I use them for a lot of my craft items. I haven't actually used them for creating a craft item, but they stack nicely and the lids stay on really well. I label them with what's inside, so I don't have to look in every one of them to find what I'm looking for.

When I make homemade spaghetti sauce, I make up individual buckets for meals. I put enough sauce and meatballs, pork and sausage in each bucket for a meal. I then put these buckets in the freezer and when I want to make a spaghetti dinner, I take one bucket of sauce out to thaw.

I have a cousin who is emailing everyone she knows, looking for her favorite Tupperware bowl. If she had used a clean old ice cream bucket when she went to a pot luck, she would still have the Tupperware!

I always thought they could be painted and used for a picnic pail when going to the park. Kids would love them for small toys in their play rooms. Pet food storage.

Don't use them to store pet food in the garage - we got mice last year, and they chewed through the super-thick plastic dogwood container and ate all the dog food! They'd make confetti out of the ice cream containers...

I use mine as recycle bins for the smaller stuff like brass, batteries, ink cartridges, light bulbs, etc. They are easily labeled and the handles make it easy to grab and go when heading to a store that recycles each.

They must be food-safe, if ice cream was sold in them!

Square is so nice, they snug up on a pantry shelf. Store staples like flour, sugar Chocolate!

I do like the idea of a snow fort or sand castle mold.

Maybe stack them offset-checker board style to create a vertical garden / privacy wall?

Hmmmm ....I'm on my way to buy some ice cream!

Re use in the freezer. I use them to organize smaller items in my freezer. These stack nicely and instead of having a huge bag of something you can put what is in the bag into theses old ice-cream containers.

I had a friend who had very little furniture in her first apt that used this kind of bucket and boards to make a book shelf. She found the boards in the apartment complex dumpster and bought a pint of paint and white washed them.
