Remodeling a Laundry Room Into a Full Bathroom

If you've followed along with me on Hometalk, you know that we bought a new home that needed some TLC. That and some major overhauls!
One of our remodeling projects was to remove the bathroom that was in the kitchen to make the kitchen bigger and then make this "laundry room" into a full bath so that we still had a bathroom on the main level. Why there was a large laundry room in the main hallway and a bathroom inside the kitchen I have no idea.....but we are about to fix all that!
You can check out our kitchen remodel here.
For this one we:

removed the cabinet that was hung and got rid of the washer and dryer from the other side of the room. We then removed the drywall in the one corner to be replaced with cement board in preparation for the ceramic tiled shower.

Being that it was acting as a laundry room there was already water to the room and there was also a vent for exhaust.

The tiled floor was actually in great shape and a decent color so we decided to save money and keep it. We did have to remove the tile under where the shower would go and then level out the floor underneath the shower pan so that it sat level.
Here it is now! We added the cabinet (my dad, he's the BEST, he built that entire floor to ceiling cabinet so that I could keep a laundry shoot from the 2nd floor. If you open the bottom door you can pull out a laundry basket!) The top 2 doors have storage that is actually in front of the shoot itself so no space is wasted in it.

The towel holder rack thing I found at a garage sale for $5. Of course I gave it a fresh coat of white paint. And the towel hook thing is a piece of driftwood that I added hooks to for holding a hand towel and for a shower towel to dry.
Here is the other side. We added the toilet and the corner tiled shower. All the baseboards also got a fresh coat of white paint.
Here is a better picture of the shower standing in the doorway.
This is straight in the door. We ended up still having a nice sized bathroom considering this room was wasted with just a washer, dryer and sink tub.
The entire project cost us about $2000 for all the materials and a few hundred bucks to my cousin who showed us and got us started on the tiling (we had NO clue). I got the mirror, shower pan, toilet, lights, vanity and sink at Menards.

The paint color is Glidden Highest Mountain Mist.
