Cake Stand - Made From an Old Coffee Cup

I wanted to share a mini tutorial for a project I did, little cute dessert stands.
I needed some little dessert stands this holiday season to display cakes.
They're super expensive to buy so I decided to make my own.
You would't believe it how easy this project was not to mention cheap and really fast. All you need is a old coffee cup and saucer and some strong glue.
They turned out very cute and

So take a minute and make a cake stand from an old coffee cup.
You can watch video tutorial here.

Apply some strong glue along the edges of the coffee cup.

Then press into the center of the plate. This glue was easy to use and dried very fast. Not difficult at all.

And that's it.

Thank you Marwal9. Yes, that is what I meant - I guess it depends on how you read it! No, Jart 57, it wasn't a typo ;) I wanted to express that it was much longer than a year ago when I glued the first pedestal/stand and that it is still doing well. Sometimes glue "gives out" after a period of time. I had that experience with my first creations. The E6000 glue hasn't given out. That was what I was trying to express - a long length of time, much longer than a year -- but I don't remember how much longer so the "well" was to create that extra length of time. Thank you for the clarification. I should have left the "well" out! :D I have edited it to remove the "well" and any question for others! :)
