DIY Candle Jar Makeover

8 Materials
I've had some fun knobs for a while now and I've had some empty candle jars - it was time to get them together! I am using them to organize buttons in my craft room, but think for a bathroom (Q-tips, cotton balls, etc.). Or decorate one as part of a gift and add homemade bath salts!
Be sure to watch the video to see how I made them and you can find more written directions on the link at the end of the post!
Here are some highlights:
Find some old candle jars and clean them. If you need tips on cleaning the was from the candle jars, you can find them at the link at the bottom of this post.
No you want to find the middle of the jar lid.
Trace the lid on a piece of paper. Fold it into quarters and snip of the point. That will give you the middle. You want to drill a hole in the lid for the fun knob you have.
Paint the lit whatever color you want.
Find some candleholders. Great places to find them are at thrift stores, dollar stores, or maybe grandma's attic.
Paint it.
Glue the candleholder to the candle jar.
Add the knob.
Add whatever you want to store, in my case it was buttons. You can customize them to fit any decor! You can find more specific directions and tips to clean the jars at the link below!
Viola!
