Year Round Tulips

Tulips are so beautiful, why not have them around all year?!
This project was super easy to start, all you need is a vase that you think is beautiful! Some beads, I love a nice clear vase and some clear beads.

Place a two inch layer of beads at the bottom of your vase. Place your tulip bulbs on top of the beads. Place a small layer of beads on top of your bulbs.

Make sure not to overcrowd your vase, try to keep an inch of space between each bulb.

Water your tulip bulbs every day with a spray bottle. You do not want water pooling in your vase as your vase has no drainage.

Once they bloom do you dead head them so they can bloom again?

I started my bulbs on Oct 31, 2016 and I was told that they would be blooming by mid Dec, yet the stem is only an inch and a half tall... it seems it is taking forever.

Alex Espie, Yes I am inspired by this idea so I think I will definitely be giving it a try.
