While I was looking around on the Internet, I saw some rhinestone napkin rings that were way out of my price range, but I fell in love with the look of them. They were $25.00 for 4. After a trip to the Dollar Tree, I made 6 for $2.00 and I love the way they turned out.
The napkin rings were in the wedding section at the Dollar Tree. They also have rhinestone mesh, which is also available at most craft stores.
I opened up the rhinestone mesh & laid the napkin ring on top of it. I centered it so that there was a row of rhinestones on either side of the napkin ring.
Close up of row excess.
I glued the rhinestone mesh to the napkin ring, a little at a time until it was completely covered. I just cut the excess off & lined up the last row to match the first row.
After it was glued in place, I clipped the corners.
Once the corners were clipped, I glued the mesh to the sides, one side at a time. Then I repeated the same process on the other side.
So easy & so pretty.

Wouldn't this be pretty at a wedding? Or change up the colors to use for the holidays.

I hope you'll give it a try. It certainly added the perfect sparkle to my Winter Tablescape. Happy Creating everyone!

I hope I don't sound ignorant but...why do you clip the corners? They are awesome by the way.
