Double Your Space With a 10 Minute Farmhouse Styled Pipe Shelf!

3 Materials
So... I was cleaning my kitchen. Fun times.
But it felt 'tired'. As in, it was time to look at something new.
I like new things to be helpful as well as fun to look at. And that's when my eyes swung over to my beloved coffee habit area.
A few pipe fittings and one plank of wood later, a new and improved project was born, that not only doubled my coffee station space in the kitchen, it truly only took about 10 minutes to make!
More time for coffee I say. :)
Here's how I made this 10 minute farmhouse styled pipe shelf:
If you love the 'fixer upper style' or all things farmhouse, this quick 10 minute shelf will be right up your alley! Price efficient, easy, and helpful. The perfect DIY I say.
How to:

1. Pick up some pipe fittings in the above configurations from your local hardware store, and screw them together. I used 1/2 thickness.

Tip: Pipe fittings come pre-threaded, so all you have to do is attach them together. Seriously that easy.

2. Cut a plank of wood down to desired size.

3. Stencil something on it if desired.

Tip: I love working with 'old signs' so I generally have plenty of old board on hand with lettering on them. Make them instantly with THESE STENCILS HERE
4. Set pipes down on counter, then place plank on top.

5. Load up with your coffee cups, and pour one for your impressive efforts.

Tip: Use pipe brackets to fix the pipes to the shelf from underneath if you desired more stability. Mine was sturdy enough as is.
6. Watch kitty helper zone out... because this project was done so fast, she had time for her 83rd afternoon cat nap.

And me for more coffee, of course!
