Penny Potty!

I always wanted a penny floor, but I live in a self built THOW (Tiny House On Wheels) so I decided to make my composting toilet a Penny Potty!( If you want to see the whole house it is at http://thetinyhousethatgrandmabuilt.blogspot.com/)
Every inch counts, so the shape of the penny potty top makes it fit, just so, in the space for it. I put bolts in place for attaching it to the frame and big straws with bolts inside them to be sure they didn't collapse. For the holes where the toilet seat will attach. Then I placed all the pennies with a small dab of two part epoxy, so they wouldn't float up when the epoxy was poured! The only pattern on the top was new pennies around the edge. Stapled a heavy cardboard frame around it and poured the "Bar Top style" two part epoxy. Make sure it is level!
Same thing for the front. I used old and new pennies to make a pattern that has special meaning for me. The front section attaches with Velcro so I can take the bucket and jug out to service it.
The edges looked a little rough, even with sanding, so I used a piece of corner moulding painted copper to finish it off nicely! There is my finished Penny Potty!

I have seen some pretty amazing seats and lids. Things like barbed wire and scorpions! But I don't think my skills are quite up to that yet:)
