After making my sons their tshirt quilts, I had to find something to do with soooo many tshirt scraps. So I went to work and came up with lots of ideas!
This was one of the quilts for one of my sons. His favorite colors are orange and blue, so I tried using tshirts that had those colors.
This was my other son's quilt. He is an Aggie (Texas A&M), so most of his thirts where maroon.
First project I came up with was a shirt for myself. The braided necklace was made with the Tshirt edges.
Next, I made another one for my niece. I added pockets using two halves of the neckline of the tie dye tshirt.
Since I had so many blue shirts, I was able to make another. This time I used sleeves to make the pockets and to make long sleeves.
And a purse with zeeper .
And also a poncho for my teenage niece. I then added fringes and I painted words on it.
She loved it!
Finally, I was able to make me a "lady's hunting shirt" with all the orange pieces and a camo shirt I had that didn't fit anyone.
As long as you have this part of the tshirts, you can really make all kinds of fun shirts.

Now, for the quilts, unfortunately, I did not document the process, but I will do that, next time I make one. Promise. However, if it helps, I do have a picture of when I planned the quilt. You have to layout the shirts to see where you want to place them. And start cutting them and placing them back in its place.
Then, you start sewing them one by one and placing back on the floor until you have them all sewn together. Then you repeat the steps with the back of the shirts. Then you make a sandwich with the back of the quilt, the batting and the front of the quilt. You go over all the seams with a nylon thread. Last thing you do is the edge which is the most difficult part in my opinion. Youtube videos help.
