I simply adore succulents and after I did my project "Succulent Wine Cork Magnets" I decided to do another.
Being that the succulents I chose were mini, I kept in mind that I would probably be putting them in the some small container like eggshells. Yes, eggshells. If you’re looking for some repurposing ideas this would be the perfect idea for you.
These easy, eco-friendly and look so cute.

What were the succulents that you used in this project?

Hi, I just bought my first hens and chickens this summer and they have put on babies so I need to transplant them soon! My question is what is the purpose to putting soil inside the egg cartons if your just going to put the shells in on top of it? Aren't the shells water proof? Also do the roots grow thru the shells at some point and I'm guessing you don't plant the shells with the babies once you want to transplant them to something bigger later on?

So, ... what is the NAME of the succulent that you got these saplings from?
