How can I remove grout sealer off of ceramic tiles?

We put new ceramic tile in our kitchen, and when my husband sealed the grout, he got it all over the tiles. Now it looks terrible because some tiles have it on it, and some don't, so it looks like it has wax on parts of it. How can I get this off of the tile but keep it on the grout?

Grout sealer stains that have set on tiles can be quite stubborn and difficult to remove. The stain will be even more difficult to remove if the grout is polymer modified. The grout stains are easier to remove from nonporous ceramics, such as glazed tiles. while it is more difficult to remove from porous tiles. The following shows some of the ways to remove grout sealer stains from ceramic tiles..... Alkaline-based cleaners. Check a nylon scrub pad (preferabley a white pad), which will be used in cleaning the stain, to make sure that it will not scratch the surface of the tile. Pour the alkaline-based cleaner on the stained area and try to scrub the stain off with the nylon scrub pad. Repeat until the stain has been completely removed..... Water and vinegar. Mix 1 part vinegar with 1 part water.Pour the solution on the stained tile and then try to scrub the stain off with a scrubbing pad. Repeat the process until the stain comes off..... Sometimes the actual sealer can soften/liquify the dry sealer. Pour some fresh sealer on the dry sealer, scrub the stain, and wipe off with a clean cloth.
Use the same grout sealer you used to seal the grout to remove the excess sealer. Easy

Lesson here: Most new grouts don't require sealing. So don't unless you're sealing the tile anyway.
Remove excess sealer after 5 min with a micro fibre cloth. Change cloth once it gets too wet. You need to rub in a circular motion to get rid of the sealer before it dries.

Distilled white vinegar and water. Run gently with a scotch pad wipe off with clean damp rag and dry with towel.
Hi! Start with a microfiber cloth and vinegar. Use a plastic scraper to remove any excess so you don't scratch the tile. Stay safe!
