Sewing-Themed Mini Christmas Tree

Jonathan Fong
by Jonathan Fong
Every year, I decorate mini Christmas trees for an organization that donates them to seniors, veterans and hospice patients. This is a sewing-themed tree I created. It was "sew" fun to make.
Sewing supplies make the perfect ornaments.
I started with a measuring tape as the garland.
Wooden spools of thread and yarn were glue gunned to the branches.
These large buttons added nice pops of color.
The tree topper was my favorite part. The pin cushion and pins looked so midcentury retro.
This tree makes me think, what other themed tree can I create?
