How can I re-use old shower poofs?

I send them through the wash with a bleach load, cut them into strips and knit them into kitchen scrubbies.

Maybe use them as stuffing for something?

After unraveling and machine washing, cut into 12 inch lengths, attach to inch wide elastic by sewing or gluing. Makes kiddies tutu. Hours of dancing/ fairy fun for little ones.

Use as a filler in bottom of flower pot

If it's made of netting you can use it out in the garden for plant support (tied to a stake, etc.). When I grow watermelons, I go vertical and use the netting as slings for the melons. It's a very fine netting and it works great (I tie them to whichever support or trellis I'm using that year). I've also used hair clips to hold the netting. You can usually find both at the dollar store.
