DIY Cute Pots

Hey everyone! I whipped up the cutest little pots this weekend! I was feeling the January blahs this weekend, so I wanted to do something to put a little cheer into my home and these pots did just the trick! They are super easy to make and will provide a cute little spot to plant your succulents.
Take a look and see how I did it :)
I used three pots, my two favorite colors from Americana Décor — Smitten and Refreshing, some markers and some succulents.
I started by painting my pots.
I felt like I wanted another color for the third pot, so I went with white.
I did two coats of paint on each pot. Once the paint was dry, I could draw on the cute faces.
This was both easy and fun! I used my Spectrum markers, which are a basically just a fancy craft marker, but you could easily use Sharpie markers.
So cute!!
And then I simply added my succulents.
These cutesy pots were just the thing to brighten up my shelf! 🙂
What do you think of these pots?

Let me know!! If you make these pots, please share your pics with me!

Slightly off topic, but what kind of cover do you have on the fireplace? Is it copper? Where did you get it from?

Sweet idea,. I'm getting antsy for Spring, too. Many of my plants haven't done well this Winter, so I'll be getting new ones, and updating my pots would be fun. Thanks for the ideas!

Love the cute little faces you added to the terra cotta pots. What a nice way to brighten up an outside garden, porch or kitchen with herbs. Adorable.
