DIY Lace Decoupaged Garden Containers

4 Materials
Embellish simple garden containers, like a bucket, vase, or watering can into a beautiful unique look.
Grab your favourite container to use for your garden. I like using rustic looking containers like buckets, vases, and watering case to give more character to my space.

We are doing to decoupage them to add a unique look.
To decoupage lace trim onto metal containers, first ensure that your container is clean and grease-free. I just used some cleaning spray and a paper towel to wipe down my tin watering can and ensure it is fully dry.
Next, apply some Mod Podge liberally with a regular brush or a foam brush onto the part of your container where your lace trim will go. I used Mod Podge Gloss for this project.
After that, place your lace trim over the Mod Podge and press it down firmly. You can use any kind of lace in any colour to liven up your container. Look for lace at your local thrift stores!

Finally, gently paint a coat of Mod Podge over the lace and the rest of the item’s surface. By painting over the entire surface of the container, the final finish will be consistent. In my case, the Mod Podge made my watering can have a lovely glossy finish.

That is it! You are done. Enjoy the this new addition of your garden collection.

This is great! I did the same thing on a flameless candle. The best part is, if you don't like the end result, you can wash it all off and try again.

I found out a new way for recycling glass jars mostly coffee and coconut oil Jars. I tried a few of my Cuctus plants they like it better in glass and a specially when I put cat litter on top of the soil. For some strange reason It only workes with Cuctus plants. Bye
