Absolutely! Without seeing pics, a little hard to advise but here goes. The glam can be added with crystal and silver accessories like decanters, tray, platters bowls, lamps, picture frames,etc. I've seen some very nice pieces at the thrift stores from time to time. Crystal and silver add glam neutral effect. You could also use brass or gold if you prefer the warmers effects.

Ditto! If you really love these pieces do these things no need to continue to purchase new furniture with every trend. You can make it work. Look on line on this site for ideas for tablescapes.

For sure!!! I love dark furniture!! I have a few dark pieces in my living room and I think it adds some nice glam.

Actually I feel they're essential base pieces to ground the space and give a surface to display our glam pieces and let them shine!
