Years ago a lady told me to run the clothes through another rinse cycle with about 3/4 to 1 cup of white vinegar. It worked for me and I use this every time tissues get washed.....hope it works for you.
Oh I have done this myself, many times! I just shake the wet garments (outside), really hard several times, to remove all the loose stuff and then just fluff the garment in the dryer. There's always one or two tissues that seem to slip by now and then.......drives me nuts. Best of luck.
I would 1. Shake out what will come off, 2. Put back in the dryer on air fluff for 15 minutes, 3. If there is still some left, use a lint roller to pick off the rest!
I don't rewash the load, I tumble it in the dryer with a third of a dryer sheet. The bits of tissue will wind up in the lint trap. I don't like to use dryer sheets or fabric softener, but I make an exception for a tissue in a pocket.
Thanks for all the help! Bette
Air fluff in the dryer with several wool tennis balls. I agree with Jodi about not using dryer sheets or fabric softener, but this is an exception.
