I purchased a Farmers Market stencil some time ago when I was redoing my previous kitchen in a farmhouse style and just never got around to using it. Now that we have moved, I have been dying to use it, just not sure where and what I was going to use it on, until I found the perfect wood pedestal picture frame for only 1.99 the other day at a local thrift shop.
How to create a Farmhouse Farmer’s Market Stenciled Glass Sign

Rust-oleum chalked Linen white Paint

Rust-oleum chalked charcoal

Farmers Market Stencil

Stencil Brush

Directions

Remove Glass and Clean

Place Stencil and Center stencil on glass, with stencil brush add small amount of charcoal chalked paint dab excess on paper towel, apply to stencil on glass in an up and down motion. repeat until all the stencil is completely covered, remove stencil carefully, let dry.

Paint frame with Rust-oleum Linen White, let dry.

Re-assemble glass into frame. Done
I love how the Farmers Market stenciled glass pedestal sign turned out and how it adds to our farmhouse styled kitchen. I really think this little Farmer’s market sign gives just that right amount of “pop” along with the lambs ear greenery in the mason jar pitcher.
