Dining Room Wall Decor With Decorative Curtain Rods

When it comes to making a house a home, I believe decorating the walls complete any room. We are still unpacking which seems like it is taking forever, every box that I open is not the right one (hint: label boxes in more detailed descriptions when packing for a move). Instead of trying to find all the wall decor pieces and desperately wanting some kind of decor on the walls, I went with what I could find to fill the dining room wall.
I decided to do a little up-cycling and repurposing with what I could find. Starting with these decorative curtain rods. I love adding dimension, these curtain rods would give just that by hanging a few wire baskets and hanging pots of greenery to the dining room wall.
Wall Decor: How Decorate a Large Wall using Curtain Rods

After placing the Botany framed wall art as the main focal point, the curtain rods were hung on each side one higher than the other to balance out the rest of the wall accent pieces.
I do love how these repurposed off white decorative curtain rods not only gave the dimension I wanted, but adds interest to the wall decor, all while still allowing a place to decorate with elements of rustic and elegance in a Farmhouse style.
