DIY Coffee Pot Terrarium

4 Materials
Some of my favorite craft projects are those that turn trash into treasure. My husband is fond of bringing me "things" to use in my projects.

He came home the other day with an old coffee pot carafe. He even cleaned it out for me, if you can believe it!

After a few minutes of thinking time and a bit more time working on my project, I turned it into a fun looking terrarium.

This is how it all started!

Who would have thought that an old coffee pot carafe would end up as a succulent terrarium?

I used these plants to fill the carafe. Most of them are cuttings.

First comes the sand. I used play sand that I got at Lowe's very inexpensively. Succulents love sand!
Next comes the plants! That was the fun part of the project!

It's starting to come together.
