I needed a beautiful centerpiece for a gathering to go on my outdoor table. So I made my own to save money and to match my decor.

Here's how I created three beautiful glass mosaic candle holders using all Dollar Tree items!

You'll need 3- large glass floral bowls, 7-glass candle stick holders, 1 or 2 glass tea candle holders, 5-bags of glass gems. You can find these all at the Dollar Tree store. You'll also need Gorilla epoxy glue, E6000 glue and a hot glue gun.

Mix the Gorilla glue epoxy solution together for 20 seconds in a disposable container. Place the first glass candle stick holder right side up and spread the epoxy on the top lip of the piece. Attach the second candle stick holder upside down to the top of the first piece.

Make sure each piece is lined up and centered as you glue each section. (1) For the first one, glue 2 candle stick holders face to face then a bowl on top. (2) For the second one, glue one candle stick holder to 1-2 tea candle holders then another candle stick holder followed by a glass bowl on top. (3) For the third one, glue three candle stick holders face to face, bottom to bottom then a bowl on top.

After all the glass pieces are glued and have dried for at least an hour, use a hot glue gun to attach the small glass gems around the outside of the bowls. After all the gems are attached, pipe in E6000 glue in between the cracks of the gems to secure the pieces and give them a more permeant hold.

I made mine and am having trouble. I applied the E6000 which was a mess and my beads are still falling off. Did you have to clean off the excess E6000 after it all dried? Do you have a solution to this problem I love them and want to use them on a tablescape we are doing for Christmas this year. HELP!!!
