Can I have two refrigerators?

In my apartment, I have a small fridge - I need extra space - is there any reason that I can't have two? Thanks!

If you have the room, no reason why you can't. Only one caveat, expect your electric bill to go up considerably adding another fridge. Refridgerators are the most energy gobbling appliances in the kitchen.

i've got 3 freezers running. make sure not all are on the same circuit breaker. the second fridge went to my moms when her fridge died.

No reason except for higher electric bills. maybe you can go the 1.5 route and get a mini fridge for your additional needs

I have had 2 fridges( still do) as long as I have been married (53 years). We are farmers and I have had very big gardens and needed to store water,drinks and
vegies from my garden, we have slowed down now but would have to be without the other fridge, Martha Armstrong

We were given a great frig when our daughter bought herself a fancier one lol. Since ours was still working we kept both for more freezer space ...we are not seeing higher electricity bills TG.

I've forgotten which religion keeps 2 fridges. Something to do with not storing certain foods together. Depending on how much frozen food you may have you could make 2nd an upright freezer. They have small chest models but may be too difficult to rotate packages. Be handy for frozen or meat sales.

  Orthodox Jewish people keep 2 kitchens. You never mix meat with dairy. And that goes for everything, pots, pans, dishes, flatware, etc.

I lived in an apartment and had my own fridge as well as the one supplied by the building. Moved one in to the spare room and used both. I also had a small chest freezer. Did not notice increase in electricity. If it is what you need, why not?

I have lived my entire life with 2 fridges or at least a fridge and chest freezer. If you need or want it, why not? As previously mentioned, make sure they are on separate circuts.

as long as your breaker that refrigerator is on is different from first on or use different breaker for second ref

Thanks for the 411 on that. Afraid my memory is hit or miss on a lot of stuff. Once I get it going down the right path I'm ok.

I was told by our apartment maintenance man that we should get a mini deep freezer so I did now he's telling me after the remodeling I can't have it or my mini refrigerator this is a waste of my money please tell me what I should do he told me not to say he was the one the recommended I should get the mini freezer because he could get in trouble or lose his job
