What could I do with this?

I found this old piece on my father in-law's old farm. I liked it and brought it home. I washed it up, but can't come up with any ideas for it. Does anyone have any ideas?

It looks pretty durable. Have you considered finding an old pot, or piece of earthenware and rigging it as a fountain? It would still show the the cool top piece you rescued, and provide a nice mellow background sound. Good luck with it, please post pictures when you have it finished.

looks like an old tractor or old pickup rim, that has been in the elements a long time.. The fountain idea is a good idea...right now, can't think of anything else. good luck.....

You could have dry oasis and silk flowers for a rustic flower arrangement.

place it in a frame and hang on wall possibly in front of a blown up reproduced black and white foto of the farm or family. This foto would go onto the back of the frame. The frame could be deep or shallow and if shallow the piece would protrude. Take the piece with and look for frames. Dont expect to place glass over. If you do though you'll need a shadow box frame.

How tall is it? I saw it is 12-14 in diameter but not sure of height?

foutain idea is a good one. Is it heavy? I would sand it a little then pain w rustic colors, more than one, let dry and put on countertop or table with a clear glass plate or vase and use as accent centerpiece or show off desserts...?

Don't know how far you want to go but my mind went to a Woodsey fairy garden. In the center Moss and long air fern pieces around the outside shiny pebbles for a stream or river effect.
