Wait, you use them together?? Awesome! I will try that...
No way! That's really handy to know, thanks!!!
I get Zout at Walmart and it's Awesome! In fact it just worked to get a cooking grease stain out of my favorite white pants. I sprayed it in that night and two days later when I went to wash I went to spray in more and the stain was already gone! Funny thing is, a guy that works at Walmart actually told me to try it as I was checking prices on items in the laundry area. He said it has gotten out black grease and ink out of his clothes and it was great! He's right and I even got grass and blood stain out too! Zout is better than oxyclean and Shout for certain!
Thanks for the information. Sometimes laundry soap like Tide doesn't work on stains, especially grease. What is the amount you use-50/50?
I just washed my red winter jacket that was really dirty. I rubbed dawn on the collar area that rubs my oily face and also sprayed on some shout. The cuffs were really dirty and I mostly used shout. The collar came really clean, but the right cuff wasn't clean enough. I need to go shopping this week and I'll have to pick up some zout and see if I can get ink off my sweatshirt. I have usually used dawn on grease spots that I never seem to notice until they come out of the dryer. Dawn will still work. Just put the dawn on the spots and rub in with a little water.
I buy gallon jugs of awesome at dollar tree. Put in a spray bottle. Nothing it won't get out. Never had any fading.
I have found VO5 shampoo works very well on red clay stains as well as grease stains. I keep it in my laundry room for around the collar, wrists and those annoying whoops grease stains, tomato sauce on the front of your shirt. It is cheap $.98 at walmart. Just yesterday I used it to remove what looked like black oil stains from my light tan carpet. It worked! I have tried several carpet cleaners to no avail. I have looked at that stain for years so yesterday I tried dilluted vo5 and a scrub brush. Rinsed with clear water and a cloth then soaked up as much moisture as I could. Just wanted to pass that on.
I will have to try all of these great ideas.
Thanks,
Pat
