Repurposed Gun Cabinet

I bought this gun cabinet at an auction for only $2, I have a terrible habit of picking up furniture anywhere! Naturally I had to do something with it since I don't own a gun:)..
So I added a little of my own touch, some paint and a few boards and now I love my new bookcase.
I have a gun cabinet with glass doors on and use it for storage too.
LOVE THE NEW COLOR! NEAT REUSE IDEA!

I turned mine into a "china cabinet." We had glass shelves made it looks great.
Rather than adding shelves, you could also add coat hooks to the back and turn it into a place to hang coats with shoes/boots going into the bottom cabinet. It's a great piece that can serve so many uses. You were lucky to find it for only $2.00! You did a great job!
