How can I repurpose these car caddies?

i purchased these caddies to be placed in the gap next to the car seat but they don't fit and I can't return them. Any ideas how to repurpose them? I was thinking bedside (mattress) caddies; other ideas? I have 2 white and 2 black. They're not flat on the bottom so they don't stand up on their own.

You might use them to hold mail, such as bills to be paid, etc.

Depending on the design of your furniture, you might be able to attach them to the arms of your easy chairs, and use them to hold remotes, keeping them all in one place and easy to reach.

Wedge them into a drawer and store rolled up pantyhose or scarves in them.

Can't tell from the picture, are those snaps or grommets along the top edge?

If grommets, you could mount the caddies to the inside of your closet (door or wall) with hooks and use to store small items. Knit hats, thin gloves, umbrellas, papers. The smaller vacuum attachments & spare vacuum belts and bags (larger attachments can be bungee corded to the caddie through the grommets on the open side). Folded up grocery totes. Flashlights and spare batteries, etc...

If those are snaps, it might take more work to attach matching pieces of snap assembly to something that you could secure to the wall. (Or use a staple gun to mount the caddies ).

I can see them as planters on your patio. Use them for recipes that you love so you know where to find them, etc.

These would be great for mounting to a wall in an office/craft area for pens/pencil crayons/brushes/etc. Or in a sewing area for patterns and instructions in use/tape measures/threads/button packets/other supplies for sewing. Have fun!

There is something you can mix with water and spray on your windshield to just dissolve ice...can't remember if it is rubbing alcohol or something else....I'm sure you can find it on line, hopefully that will make it easier for you...

Mount on the wall in the bathroom to hold makeup brushes or tooth brushes. I have a couple in my craft room for extra reading glasses, small screwdrivers, marking pencils, measuring tapes.

Screw one to the front door (or hang from a ribbon) and use for flower arrangements.

Brilliant idea! Could be changed with the seasons. I may have to go out and buy one now, just to do this!!

Attach a flap to the top of one side. You can slide the flap bettween your mattress and box spring. It wil hold remotes, travel tissues, books etc.
