DIY Leprechaun Hat Centerpiece

3 Materials
It's a bit to early to have planters outside yet, in spite of the warm weather that that has not stopped me from using my clay pots indoors in a fun way.

Terra Cotta pots paint up very easily and dry very quickly, so you can put together a project in a very short time.

This cute leprechaun hat centerpiece started its life as a clay pot and saucer and ended up as a fun decoration for my St. Paddy's Day table!
I received a basket of lovely green fresh flowers and just made sure my foam was very wet to hold them. What a lovely splash of green!
A clay pot, and saucer as well as a miniature picture frame got fashioned into the leprechaun hat in just minutes.
You can make the centerpiece with fresh flowers if you make it near the time that you want it displayed. If you want it to sit on a table for longer, silk flowers are the way to go.
Either way, the Leprechaun hat is a show stopper. See the whole tutorial on my blog.
