Everyone loves infinity mirrors and we all want them, but for some people is not easy to work with LEDs and electricity and thats the reason I came up with this build.

We need a piece of wood 120 x 8 x 1.8 cm with a 5mm deep groove on each side.
We then cut three pieces out of it. One piece 33 cm and two pieces 17 cm at 45 degree angle.
We assemble those three pieces together using some wood glue.
We then slide the mirror into the back groove and secure it in place using a strip of wood.
Use some clamps to keep it in place while the glue dries.
On another strip of wood apply some silicone in the groove and slide in the front "one way mirror"
Apply two coats of clear finish to protect the wood.
Test it out! Remove the front mirror, place some candles in and light them up!
Test fit the front one way mirror
Add the front mirror again.
Enjoy!!

Hi Martha, powertools, nope. So how about a shadow box that you glue a mirror to the back? Sounds like it would work 😊.

I may be ignorant here, but wouldn’t the flame candles being in such close proximity to the wood be a fire hazard?
I know you could use the battery operated ones if it is a concern, but there is nothing quite like the ambience actual candles give.
I just wouldn’t want anyone ending up having disaster strike if it is a risk. If it’s not then tell me I’m ignorant and I’ll show myself out 😉
Beautiful! I may have to try making one. After admiring the beauty, my weird little mind starts wondering, why is that candle on the right burning down so fast?
