How do I safely get nail polish off my dining room table?

    Polish remover will take the finish off, maybe goo be gone I have never tried on stain,

    Try using the using the iron. Place a cloth over the stain and steam it with an iron on low setting. remove immediately and clean it gently. Repeat if necessary.

  • The iron tricks is great for wax candles even on your rugs I'm not sure about it taking off nail polish on a wooden surface try it in the spot that no one will see before you do it just my advice

    i would try a safety blade, carefully. Place an ice cube inside a ziplock to chill it first.

    I tried nail polish on my dresser and it did take the finish off. Be careful.

    Use oil of wintergreen. It doesn't harm the wood as nail polish remover would.

      I think I got a small bottle at a drug store. Let me know if it works for

      you. I used it on maple arms on my rocker. The polish was not on there long though. I remembered that when I was painting with TriChem, a

      craft hobby years ago, TC used wintergreen to clean off the tube paints.
