DIY St. Patrick's Day Door Swag

3 Materials
I don't do much decorating for St. Patrick's day but I do like a touch of green here and there. Since I always have something pretty on my front door to welcome guests, I wanted to incorporate a bit of the Irish Luck in the form of a door swag.

This project is super easy to do. I had it all assembled in about 15 minutes using a few simple supplies.

Since I have an oval glass panel on my door a wreath shape won't work but swags are perfect.
I think that the green colors compliment my blue door and shutters in a pleasing way.
Just a few supplies and most of them are things I had on hand from other projects!
This cute shamrock bell holder cost me all of $1.00!!
Dollar store onion grass springs got unrolled and gave me a great base for my shag shape.
It would not be St. Patrick's day without a leprechaun hat. Another $1 purchase! The whole swag cost me about $6 and 15 minutes! See the whole tutorial on my blog.
Suggested materials:
  • Leprechaun hat, shamrock bells, onion grass and silk flowers   (Dollar Store)
  • Plywood   (reclaimed)
  • Green burlap fabric   (my craft closet!)
