A French Table From Top to Bottom!

2 Materials
This little French table is one of a pair that I found in the thrift store a few months ago. One of the tables was missing its bottom piece but I grabbed them anyway. I assumed that I would have a new bottom cut and install it.
I took the tables home and there they sat until I was able to begin the makeover. You can see the one on the left is missing its bottom. I postponed working on the tables due to the missing bottom and the extra work that would need.
Finally, I decided to tackle the project and began. This is when I realized that the bottom was actually there all along! It had come loose at some point and had shifted to the very top of the interior. You can see it in this picture, kind of jammed up against the top. I pried it down and back into place...perfect!
Now to the top of the table, I sanded it back and was thrilled to see its gorgeous grain make an appearance. I knew then that it would be a beauty!
Here is the "after"! As you can see, the top turned out beautifully. It was stained in Minwax - post HERE: French Table Top in Minwax

The creamy white paint is a classic color for this classic table. New glass pulls gave it some glam!
I love these little round french tables with the grille fronts. They are so pretty and I have done quite a few in my career...French Table in Pink

I have a bedroom set that has the light wooden tops and then the bottoms are green. I want to paint the bottoms white. Do I spray paint them or hand paint? I can't afford to pay someone and there isn't anyone around here that has a space free of dust, etc. Also is there a special paint I should get?

I have cats who love to hid inside things like cardboard boxes. Got an idea, what if I got such a table and took out the screen on the doors to create a sleeping/hiding nook for them. Think that would look right?
