Mason Jar Bird House Village Set

This is a cute country kitchen counter canister set/ around the bird house theme.
To make this craft get large mason jars. Also, go to the wooden dollar section of any craft store. I wanted to do four bird houses for my village. I might add more later.
Cut off the string on top of the bird houses. Then fill in the whole with wood filler if you want. I didn't do that to mine because my wood filler was not any good.
Next spray paint your bird houses or hand paint them. I painted mine with left over spray paint colors I had on hand in my shop. I wanted to keep this country decor project cheap.
Take craft paint to accent the houses. I liked painting just some of the features such as a fence to make it stand out. For the rest of the look I liked monochrome.
Once they are dry, scuff up the bird houses with sand paper or leave them as is.
Hot glue or E6000 the bird houses to the mason jars.
Enjoy! Be careful to not pick up the jars by the bird house when using but by the sides.
