How to get stains out of clothes without using bleach?

I am a firm believer in Shout on stains before washing; adding Oxyclean to washer as it fills, then let it swish for awhile to make sure it is desolved; and finally, adding Tide liquid. Then I put the clothes in the washer and restart it.

4 Tblsp. peroxide, 1 Tblsp. dish soap & 1 Tblsp. baking soda, use an old toothbrush & brush on stain. If the stain isn't too old or set in it should come out.

Use above on stained fabrics. I make my own detergent. My clothes come clean. Request the simple recipe by reply and I'll post. I save $350 a year and it's better.

2 c washing soda, 2 cups borax and two bars of felsnappa soap...I use my food processor to grind up the soap because it gets nice and fine and dissolves easier...and mix in the other ingredients. And shake the jar to mix. I use a rounded Tablespoon in the laundry dispenser..Or put it into the bottom of the machine. It costs $6 and change for a batch that lasts months. The original recipe called for melting in water and cooking on the stove but that to me is a waste of my time. It is heavy and a pain to store. I keep the dry mix it in a large repurposed pickle jar w an old spoon in it.

I use an extra rinse for whites ( I have an he machine)along w a couple T white vinegar in the softener container for the rinse. My clothes just smell nice and clean.
