How do I get rid of small moths in my house?

You can get moth traps made by safer for that.Home depot should have them.

Keeping the seed in a glass container should also keep them out. In terms of getting rid of them, there are glue traps with pheromones that attract and trap the little buggers. Good luck!

I have the same problem with bird seed thanks for the info on the traps wonder if Lowes carries those?

Make sure you check your pantry staples too, they like flour, nuts and even dried fruit!

These are grain moths, they come in, in your flour too. I put all flour into big zip lok bags & when I am dealing with a big infestation of them I keep the flour in the freezer. Squash them on sight, clean your cabinets of little webs.

They are pantry moths. Clean pantry thoroughly then put all grain items like bread, cereal, flour, cookies etc in double zip Ziplock bags or vacuum sealable containers. Like the fold down storage containers. Then set out glues traps from Home Depot.

Oh dear, so sorry to hear that. We had an infestation of them in our pantry last year. So frustrating and had to throw everything that wasn’t canned or in a sealed container out and completely clean and wipe every surface. We also bought sticky moth traps. Apparently, they have some kind of pheromone inside that attracts the moths and then they get stuck. We’ve also hung bay leaves in our pantry (my Mom’s advice) and that seems to work. They haven’t been back this year.
