How to Make a Captain Mirror From a Burner Cover

If you have ever walked the aisles of a Dollar Store then I'm sure you have walked past the metal burner covers. Not thinking twice about buying them for anything other than burner covers or maybe turning them into magnetic boards. Well today, I'm showing you how to turn those inexpensive burner covers into a stylish captain's mirror.

The most expensive part of this project was the mirror, but if you have a Hobby Lobby near by you can snag one with a 40% off coupon!

Let's get started!
I only used the large burner, but if you want to make a smaller mirror as well you can.
I had a leftover piece of poplar board, which ended up being perfect for leveling the mirror on the burner cover. After I had my eight pieces cut I glued them onto the burner cover that I spray painted with ORB spray paint.
After drilling holes and attaching machine screws and D-ring hooks I finished off the mirror with rope for hanging.
